your thesis is to enable everyone to tip whatever they want and now you are policing what is "spam" which one is it then

You can still tip whatever you want. You just won’t receive an airdrop

So team gets to decide for users whose tips are valuable or valueless then Would've been nice to know that the legitimacy of a token that represents the value of a community is single handedly decided by the devs

They literally said nothing about an airdrop when they launched so people werent ‘forced’ to use the app in hopes of getting an airdrop. You can tip however you want and if youre only using the app in hopes of getting an airdrop then you had the wrong mindset to begin with

- "airdrop" has literally been on the website since the beginning. sure that's not about incentivising ppl to use the app, right? - the whole point of having a token for an app that doesn't need a token at all is to grab attention by incentivising speculation. sure team isn't taking advantage of ppl having the "wrong" mindset, right? - the oc literally said nothing about airdrop but anything about that the team gets to decide which tokens are legitimate and which are not

- Oh my bad I didn’t even know they had a website sorry about that - I probably have not been in crypto long enough but a tipping mini app having its own token would not automatically make me think airdrop or that i will get something out of it by using the app - i think its fair for them to decide what is legitimate or not as its their funds they’re sharing no? Even if it was gained through user traffic its still theirs but i guess thats not what decentralisation is about What ive learnt from fc airdrops is that we can easily feel entitled to other peoples money, so if im eligible for an airdrop yay and if not boohoo onto the next i might not even be eligible for the noice one as well doesn’t mean its unfair they’re obviously gonna try their best to screen out snipers and sybils and there will always be false positives

again, i don't care about airdrops, what i said originally has nothing to do with airdrops i don't care about the decentralization/centralization of their app, they can do whatever they want, just don't pretend it's all inclusive and stuff and yes, users are entitled, as they should be. otherwise, don't lure them with an airdrop some ppl are gaming the system, that's not their problem. they still play by the rules by a flawed system. make a better system instead or put it upfront that you don't have a system
