I don't understand how Zora managed to have a worse reputation than Pumpfun. They were an art platform last year 🤣

it’s a great question and I think it can be answered kind of simply 

pumpfun never pretended to be something they weren’t - it’s a token launchpad and that’s all they ever focused on and never hid from it 

Zora at first was an art platform (I guess), then there were some token launches like enjoy that many thought came from Zora itself, then they decided to allow people to launch coins and launched their own token, etc etc etc 

They have tried to pivot so much as they continue to lose market share that no one knows what their purpose is anymore 

The token launches was a last ditch effort probably to pay out seed investors who are down tremendously

I believe that this is true and that on CT the idea of fast gains and promotions have manipulated the narrative. KOLs + fast money is more alluring than long term holds.
