32 hours until the NBA Finals tip off. Let’s talk about the match ups a bit. The Pacers were far outliers in terms of player movement and ball movement. This alone is not what got them to the finals. It’s the fact that they play this high pace/high movement without turning the ball over much. Add the fact that anyone of the court can score. Can OKC be a foil to this style of play? They do attack passing lanes and create a lot of turnovers. League high, I think. This is strength vs strength. Something has to give. How do you all think this plays out?

Alex Caruso is going to expose their offensive play-style. I also think Jdub and Shai will be challenging to defend because of the “foul” potential. It will be a good series and I think it goes 4-2 w/OKC taking the Finals.

Yeah, will be interesting to see if they can disrupt the passing lanes. Pacers had some good experience dealing with “free throw merchants” like Brunson and Mitchell. The Pacers have been successful in letting the superstars “get theirs” Giannis, Mitchell, Brunson/KAT all had amazing stats in their series, yet the Pacers are at 12-4 in the playoffs. For them it’s really about shutting down the 2nd and 3rd options as well as other role players. Will be more difficult to pull off vs the Thunder, but we will see.
