My stance on crypto comes from being a social media person first and a crypto person second.


I feel like the crypto space right now is an echo chamber of  “crypto first/social media second” and that’s being generous… I see a lot of “crypto first/ nothing second” type of people & that’s where the biggest disconnect comes from when trying to on board new users through social.


In my opinion there needs to be more people that are “social media first/crypto second” sitting at the table where these convos are being had to bring in new perspectives and break down the walls of the echo chamber.

Are you saying the social feed is a crypto echo chamber? I think that’s probably right and makes sense today since we’re in beta. Will def need some type of mass onboarding event though.

I wouldn’t  necessarily say the social feed, just more so speaking In general terms when it comes to onboarding new individuals into the space and making them want to stay

But what base is attempting to do is great. Just thinking for the future & trying to set the play up as best as possible for new people (not previously in crypto) who want to join base instead of staying on one of the already existing platforms for socials

Need more opinions from the outside rather than from the same people that have been speaking on it for the past years. 

Get people thinking in different ways or at least start having different perspectives in conversation
