Warfare was a tough watch. The combat was raw and felt authentic. 
I’m excited for 28 years later- Garland has been on a good run.

I've been postponing checking this out. Seems ill give it a try soon

My frame of reference is generally Black Hawk Down or Saving Private Ryan- this would be more Black Hawk Down with pure combat focus. It’s not a horror movie- but it captures the horror. Black Hawk Down feels more patriotic and heroic. This is heroic- but the greater emotional appeal for me was the horror.

I hope it'll be worth the watch. I guess any war movie i watch nowadays I subconsciously compare it with the good old timers like 13 hours, 12 strong, eye in the sky and others

Well worth a watch. Very intense. I saw a lot of commentary when it came out that this is glorifying warfare- It would be hard to have that take after watching this. You really feel like you're in the middle of the fight and it's not a comforting place to be.
