i believe it is a very significant unlock, yes! being able to experience digital work in ways which are not as possible or as elegant as they would be physical art work i think will add a lot of cultural value to the art form i think "metaverse" interactions will further add to this ...

i also think being able to permissionlessly borrow and lend against digital art as valuable assets will be important while this doesn't add to the art, it does add to the value proposition of owning digital art, and these sorts of things have been a part of the traditional art market too for a long time!
