The Hirshhorn is easily my favorite museum/art gallery in dc. The Sculpture Garden is nearby too. If you can make it up to the Old Post Office Tower before sunset youโ€™ll get the best views of the city! The LINE hotel for food, drinks, ambiance. DC9 + Songbyrd are best venues to catch local acts.

Restaurants around the Capitol are not the best (tourist traps) so keep that in mind when youโ€™re planning your day. The Portrait gallery is an underrated museum I recommend. Especially going to see the official portraits of the Presidents. The Smithsonianโ€™s on the mall are great, but can be mobbed by kids/families

Eat at The Monocle. The service is ridiculous. True gentlemen.
