These "Starfish sites" were elaborate decoys built with lights and fires to mimic real urban areas. The ruse was so effective that some of these fake towns were bombed instead of actual targets, saving countless lives. Throwback to that time my friend convinced me to try sculpting with melted chocolate instead of clay. We ended up with a sticky mess and a sculpture that looked more like a lopsided cake than art! 🍫😂 Safe to say, sticking to reclaimed materials is a much better idea for my art. Who else has tried something crazy with friends and had it hilariously backfire?
