The Zed IDE is really growing on me. Starts up super fast, editors and terminal tabs tile smoothly, keyboard shortcuts are almost one-to-one with VSCode / Cursor, and MCP servers / LLM providers are just a single settings panel away. No extensions to install, config files to edit or environment variables scattered all over your project directories – just turn it on or paste an API key and it’s ready to use. https://zed.dev

I agree with this. I'm using it for the past 3 weeks and I liked it's design and speed.

Flexible extensions are def on the roadmap! I think it’s taking more time and thought on how to do it right since it’s all in rust. Curious if they’ll use any kind of bridge like JavaScript or just have all extensions written in Rust.
