Yes. So many mixed emotions. Head and heart still not yet in sync.
Despite what my initial curated exposition made it seem (thank you everyone for the warm response to the thread, by the way!!) â I too found myself starting to lash out yesterday and ended up writing and retracting several emotionally charged posts. @balajis.eth himself graciously reached out to me this morning to clarify and intervene. I donât think he (or I) actually understood quite what I was trying to get across just then, so I am writing it here now.
The reality is, the @farcaster app was a safe digital second home for a lot of people, and the blindside of the transition is causing many people through a few stages of shock and grief.
I think the best response is to listen, avoid shifting blame, and save theory and reasoning for later. Kindness and empathy all around will go a long way right now.
