Itâs on Congress to create âworkableâ legislation. The president can only sign or veto the bills. They are two separate branches of government. Not sure what you mean by incompetence here.
Not buying this âauthoritarianâ premise either â it feels incredibly one-sided to me and not really based in reality. There are explicit limits on the office of the president defined in the Constitution that keep tyranny from ever happening.
