Yesterday I took Lil Grey to the vet, and they started him on a new 10-day antibiotic treatment to fight the bacteria causing his urinary infection. Hopefully this one works 🙏🏻

The vet also reviewed his latest bloodwork and his kidney levels have improved a bit and are stable ✅ which means the fluid therapy and meds are helping😸

The only downside is that his hemoglobin dropped from 14 to 8 and his platelet levels are also low. So now we need to increase his dose of erythropoietin and multivitamins. In about 20 days we’ll have to repeat the blood tests to see if his levels improve. The vet also recommended an abdominal ultrasound to rule out kidney stones. 

For now, he’s in good spirits, eating well, and full of life 😸🐾🫶🏻

Hope your little guy gets to feeling better here soon he definitely deserves it. Currently feeding our six cat 🐈 kids, a sausage dog 🐕, a turtle 🐢, and a lizard 🦎 the 4th kinda caused a late dinner but all are happy now.

Definitely you do a lot! Even more than me, and yes Lil Grey has special needs and he has been the most expensive cat I ever had 😅🐾 but I do it bc Lil Grey still showing he wants to live so that's why I don't give up. Thankfully Rocky and Pepe are healthy cats 🙏🏻 but it's true that they had some healthy issues recently. Pepe is already recovered and Rocky is under treatment and is doing good 🙏🏻

Let’s just say this it can be somewhat of a chore some times for obvious reasons that some of the family members are reptiles and have different dietary needs plus working a full time job some weeks 50+ hours a week then home I make dinner do a lot of the household choirs. As for how do I do it I guess a lot of that has to do with the fact that I’ve been doing this for so long it is just part of my routine. And bless you too for what you do it may only be three cats but they all seem to have some special needs and you take care of them even with the vet costs
