Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated the company's primary focus remains on non-US markets, though it's open to launching a new stablecoin in the US should the right regulatory framework emerge. Stablecoin transactions surged to $51.4 billion in 2024, with USDT dominating 62% to 91% of the market share globally, especially in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan, which account for 36.3% of global stablecoin flows.
