Anecdotal but has anyone else felt the AI hype ā€œcoolā€ by like 5-10% over the last couple weeks? A month or two ago it seemed like there were new foundational model upgrades each week, everyone was building their own MCP servers and new agentic frameworks coming out. Thereā€™s still lots of hype but I think weā€™re realizing that thereā€™s still lots of engineering work to do to embed LLMs effectively, increase one shots and reduce slop.

If the asset is on coinbase.com and is a ā€œblue chipā€ token then we have a color stored for it that weā€™ll use. But weā€™re working on doing dominant color detection for longer tail assets to raise coverage.

Meta is leading open source AI dev with their Llama models and platforms so thereā€™s tons of potential if they can pull it off. The current private models are cool and powerful but you wonā€™t have many enterprise CSOs that are going to be ok integrating with black box private LLMs.
