Why not make the verifications as attestations? It would make them composable an interoperable with the rest of Ethereum. They could also be expired and revoked. Any dev/smart contract could build with it.

Don't complicate membership experiences with NFTs. Just attest to it. - More composable and interoperable - Memberships can expire and be revoked - Add custom logic w/ a resolver contract - Prevent membership xfers to bad actors / sybils

It would make sense for the sake of interoperability... In terms of privacy, some user info ought not to belong onchain, eg: Phone, but doubting that a redesign of their verification process occurs. Waiting to hear more details...

Past onchain attestations are displayed within the app at a dedicated page natively hooked up to the attestation service (EAS) on Base Sepolia (testnet blockchain). So far, two EAS Schemas for attestations have been created so far and multiple in-test attests done publicly. [EAS SDK, GraphQL, Custom-UI for web3 data]

If desired and by default, the onchain enrollment occurs on Base Sepolia for (almost) free! Otherwise, the user may choose to create an attestation on Base blockchain which may lead to substantial expenses. [Two public networks, two outcomes. Poor dev, talented team.]
