It's a classic that no longer needs commentary. It's a pity that Stephen King has completely disavowed this adaptation and doesn't see it at all as a masterpiece, but rather as a failed work. However, I understand his opinion because the book is quite different indeed and does not reflect the same things.

Well King's opinion is also right but Kubrick made his own version. One of the other good ones is Burroughs naked lunch which Lynch's adaptation was a total banger. Maybe i can work on that too. After Tarr lol

Lynch is great. One of the few who didn't lack ideas and never staggered. Mainstream also knows him which is kinda shocking 😂

Yes, I always wonder how he managed to break through to a wider audience. But yes, he never lacks imagination, and above all, he is someone who experiments a lot, somewhat like a craftsman of cinema.
