Everything about Palmer's goal was beautiful. Great awareness from Chalobah to give that pass. Good pass also. You see where Palmer receives the ball? That's where he's most dangerous facing towards goal. Receives in the right half-space and my Goodness, what a first touch. That took him away from the defender. Shields his body well to position himself well enough for the shot and what a composed finish that was. World-class, he is.

FT: Palmeiras 1-2 Chelsea - Joined in the second half and it was worth it. - Who was expecting an Estevao G/A vs his future team? For me vs Fluminense, he starts LW. - Colwill's leadership is one to admire. Top performance today again. Just sad he misses the next game. - Gusto was superb today. Predicted on X that Al Hilal might go to the semis. Their performance vs Madrid was enough for me to know. They're so solid. And to think they wanted to add Osimhen and Fernandes to this team. What a team it would have been!
