Awesome project, but 15 ETH seems very expensive for something that can be vibecoded in an afternoon

Hi Willy, So, 6 ETH goes toward the development of the web app, and 1 ETH for the mini-app, with the rest mainly for marketing and operations. The 6 ETH is based on the General Magics quotation. This is the mini-app code by @lemon-king who helped me during the incubator program, completed at the 3 days ago. We still need to polish it, but I’d love to pay him so he can keep working on it. He was the only dev who stepped up—the others asked for 1–3 ETH. https://farcaster.xyz/miniapps/zQT_2ungf7-o/mint-me-a-coffee

Love general magic, but afaiu this is a very basic web app, and can easily be vibecoded. No need to outsource this to a design/development agency. General magic does great design, but so does AI, and i would start there before dropping $15k. I will vibe code this for you for .5 eth if you want and have it ready in a day, but I’m sure you could do it too. Check out bolt.new, they’re doing a special this weekend where it’s free. To put it into perspective, nounspace is requesting 62.5 ETH for 6 months of development from a team of 5. This is after we’ve been building for over 11 months past the initial 3 month sprint, which was $100k (25 eth) for a team of 4. You could also use nounspace to eliminate the need for your own web app and backend, which would support the nouns eco more than another standalone web app. Ideally Nouns wouldn’t be the sole funder of this, or if we were, there would be more tangible benefits.
