On junk food it's good if it's "low sodium" but now we drink these 1000mg sodium electrolyte packets? I don't get it. Someone please explain

Sodium relative to water consumption/loss is probably a better way to gauge the need. I think this is why LMNT markets around morning use; helps you restore water loss after 8hrs of dehydration. Otherwise unnecessary outside of endurance training. Highly individual on what's "healthy" and most still miss on potassium
