Ok, so I'm going to share this experience because I think it's important. I recently completed the KYC process for the Moxie retrogrant. I did this for the Burr Frens poker club. If this were up to me, I would not have completed this. I was not informed that I'd have to submit my passport and utility bill in order to receive this grant. Let's dive in 🫡 First off, it's through gatenox - idk much about them, but let's assume they are a reputable and secure site

Thank you so much for taking the time to document your experience with the Moxie Retro1 grant KYC process so thoroughly. I went through it too. First time I've ever applied for a grant in crypto. Seems there was an issue with my Oregon state ID the first time around, but my documents still got accepted. (?) When I reached the last screen it looked like the process had been completed anyway, so I got confused. After some back-and-forth messaging with Moxie in DCs I learned that I'd need to start the process over and re-enter all my data a second time. The whole process was very confusing, frustrating, and unclear. At one point I was about ready to tear my hair out (and I'm normally pretty patient with bureaucratic hoop-jumping). I wish I'd seen your thread before I started.

I should have done it sooner in the week. I wish I could have warned the space sooner 🫂🤍 I'm glad you didn't pull your hair out fam. Stay beautiful, it ain't worth it 🤣😬🫂

Thanks for your service (and your kind words). We're lucky to have people like you here. 💜 I will probably write more about my experience with the KYC process at some point. Maybe it will help someone else avoid the frustration I went through as a first-time grant applicant.
