what i love about this essay is it so clearly articulates why i struggle to "be active" on social networks. i'm really not a content creator, but i am a content curator. and the tooling for that is not always developed my MO is idea gardening. I swear, my little squirrel brain can find any reference i've ever tucked away, across pinterest. are.na. ig. twitter. tumblr. i could document and archive "cool things" and never get tired of it. the idea of "ok, now do it in a way that builds a cannon" is really interesting and a very gentle push. 💚 i very much look forward to finding spaces like /slowcore-hq to try and push myself

Love Tom's essay for all kinds of reasons. Glad it speaks to your circumstances. I look forward to seeing your idea gardens one day, if you decide to share them! I'm using Obsidian for curation and am slowly working on slowcore-friendly digital gardens/browsing spaces and a "memex" (memory index), as we've discussed elsewhere.

Also regarding curation tools: if you're on iOS, here's a possibility to consider. (I haven't tried it myself as I'm not on iOS, but I appreciate the founder's writings and I'd definitely try it if I were). https://farcaster.xyz/msms/0xb4f5f1e0
