Thought the /slowcore-hq crowd might appreciate this. I certainly do. "...wish there was a way to access interesting content without having to spend an excessive amounts of time on here... the fact that it's mandatory for creators and brands to be chronically online today kind of rugs deep meaningful work."

I wholeheartedly second their sentiment! And the fact that this came from someone who's in marketing (which, at this point, is almost synonymous with social media) and is involved in the creator economy is... fascinating to say the least. Very telling of the times we live in too! I feel more and more people are starting to feel turned off by being chronically online but don’t see an alternative.

A part of me wonders if the nature of real time feedback is the issue For example, imagine if any post that's sent has zero notification(s) to the OP until 24 hours later. Imo, I need that default setting instead of me constantly checking whether there are any responses + tapping that (gambling dopamine hit)
