thinking about what channels to post in and sorting how to get access to channels was something I didn't enjoy

Many channels are dormant but some are still active. 

I think the channels-as-hashtags narrative is dead, though (and good riddance, I say). 

The channels that will stick around are of the well-moderated cozy corner type.

I'm happy to hear I don't have to think about channels anymore
