kinda too much messing around with the Mentions in the past few weeks, feeling not v reliable. seeing slightly different sets of Mentions in warpcast vs. supercast, and in some cases from the same users (so not a spam/etc issue)

Agreed. I think the unreliability has something to do with degen tipping. Often when I tip someone degen they don't respond, and it may be because they didn't get a notif. From the other side, I've received degen tips that I never got notifs for, and I only saw the tip comment when I happened to revisit the thread.

yeah, most tip messages are completely filtered (even from people you follow), which is too heavy-handed
