I think acquiring Pedro would provide backup for Gittens on the left wing and serve as an option at striker alongside Jackson and Delap, with us moving away from the Ekitike deal. Madueke is keen on staying at Chelsea despite interest from other clubs, and Jackson feels the same. Brighton is asking for 60 million pounds for Joao Pedro, having turned down a 50 million pound offer from Newcastle. Chelsea is keeping an eye on the situation, with Paul heading the negotiations.
