Along the stretch of endless days,
fatigue
settles softly
on my shoulders like dust.
I’ve come from no journey,
and no destination awaits,
yet my feet
are heavier than a memory of longing.
Silence
has seeped into my bones,
and gazes
pass through me
without pause.
I want to sleep
not to rest,
but to forget.
My weariness
has no name,
no form,
it simply is...
like a shadow
that clings to me
even in the dark.
