I did not make this blade! I was commissioned to restore the knife and replace the handle. I also made him a leather sheath. The wood material was special to the customer, but I’ll be honest I completely forgot the name of the wood. If any one has any idea what it could be feel free to cast your opinion.

I make things with my hands. Mostly sharp things, but pretty things nonetheless.

Wowow a mokume-gane blade! I wish I followed the mokume course when I was in school. I really appreciate it now but back then I was more interested in stone setting and anodizing aluminium and titanium. You did a beautiful restoration 👌🏻
