mackerel in tomato marinade
ingredients:
mackerel 2 pcs
onion 2 medium heads
olive oil 80 ml
apple cider vinegar 30 ml
tomato paste 60 g
water 350 ml
salt 1 tbsp
peppercorns 1 tsp
dried garlic 1 tsp
sweetener pinch
smoked paprika 1/2 tsp
coriander 1 tsp
preparation:
1 cut off the head, tail, and fins of the semi-frozen fish, remove the insides, and wash. cut into 2 cm wide slices.
2 cut the onion into half-rings.
3 pour water into a saucepan, add salt, sweetener, pepper, tomato paste, spices, and oil. bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes. let it cool.
4 add vinegar and mix.
5 place layers of fish and onion in a suitable container, pour the marinade over, cover with a lid, and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
