whenever you're looking at the pooled WETH/tokens for Base coins on DEXScreener, mind yourself that you're looking into incorrect data. they simply pull the balance of the pool address, while the pool itself holds uncollected rewards that don't compound into liquidity. investigated a more than 50% difference in data between us and dx lol.

i think this may be slightly inaccurate since Solana throughput is much larger than the other blockchains thus fee spikes get eroded even on a timescale of one week

support your points here i'm weak in this topic but could one build hyperliquid as an L2? it kinda "fits" the purpose of L2 then – in this case hyperliquid would be a chain that is application centric. Base tries to be "culture" centric – though I'm much more biased to Solana's "founder" centric position (they do help people directly more often), but there are many other L2s that try to be L1s (with purpose dispersed over everything, and finally serving nothing). (honestly me trying to find reasons why L2s don't suck and what would be an actual valuable use case for it in next months/years)
