i'm a toyota dude, but bimmers are usually good on bbs's. all in all anything that's narrower than 9jj is baby wheels ) suspension lowering also a must 🙂 my example on the pictures

anything multi-piece with a lip will look much better and wider than one-piece wheels imo (two examples). the one on the left is Enkei racing peaks sp2, the right is Work CR-kai

It's impossible to say which one would be better for your car, cuz when you start messing with fitment you can try out different options for months and it's really hard (takes alot of dedication) to find proper fit without getting the wheels to rub the arcs
