I spent a week once a few years ago reverse engineering the private API signing logic of an app I was using that didn't (still doesn't) have a public API. Have been using their private API ever since!

fun fact, I reverse engineered Truecaller APIs almost 6 years back to build a WA bot to avoid installing that shady ass app

shared that with my friends when they saw what I was doing and was able to see them reverse searching their crush lol

i ended up sharing and using it too much to have my account rate limited and permanently banned

in hindsight that one day has led to me doing so many reverse engineering on hundreds of APIs and getting free API keys to things
