I want to debunk what has happened with this “drama“ bc I feel it is unfair to simply hate and block @fayaz57 for his ignorant comment I regret the manner in which I called out this behavior, bc it didn’t call out the misogynistic attitude in the comment as much as it did call out the person who made the comment. In turn, the blame has been pointed towards @fayaz57 instead of the much larger culture of misogyny on the internet. From what I’ve gathered, the reason this comment was made is because in these kinds of communities, you often come by “hot chicks” who post thirst traps to gain engagement instead of authentic content. It seems to me that @fayaz57 was tired of receiving this kind of content on his feed, and once he saw my post, he categorized me as another girl farming for engagement by using her looks. I dont think any of us look to promote this thirst trap content, but I also think we need to change our attitude to distinct authentic female content and these engagement farmers.

When all is said and done, I don’t agree with cancel culture. Blocking him and giving him hate for an ignorant comment is not the way to fix the problem. Because @fayaz57 is not the problem, misogyny is the problem. And that is far bigger than just one comment made by one drunk guy. I dont wish for him to have this platform taken away from him due to the hate, because it is such a wonderful platform & he has been dedicated to it for quite some time. I know damage has been done, but I hope to at least control it with this response. Lets all grow from this experience & keep on supporting each other ❤️

Honestly I am upset you came back to debunk it, but it shows that you are the bigger person in the picture. So a lady cast her picture on her social media account and one cry baby is crying about it calling it thirst trap well F him.
