Can we talk about Respect? Have you ever noticed how it's often tied to appearance? You walk into a store to buy something simple, maybe groceries or toiletries—and suddenly, you're being followed like you came to steal, just because you're not wearing the “right” clothes. You try to make a point during a conversation, and people dismiss you before you finish talking, all because your accent isn’t polished or your grammar isn't flawless. You take public transport, and suddenly, you're no longer seen as someone with ambition or direction. They assume you’re struggling, like success can only ride in a private car. People treat others better when they think they have money, influence, or beauty. But strip all that away—aren’t we all deserving of kindness? I keep wondering… when did basic respect become a luxury?

It’s treating people right, not because of what they have, but because they’re human. You don’t need to be rich, fine, or famous to deserve it. Respect is basic—nothing more, nothing less.
