Notes from my last 7 day fast: --- Final day of my 7 day fast. Wouldn’t say its all smooth sailing, had some evening cravings, particularly on day five. But on the whole hasn’t been very difficult likely because of getting used to intermittent fasting for the last year and half. --- For long periods of time after day 3, felt like I had unlimited energy and focus. Had this same feeling during ten day Vipassana - like you are on some kind of high. --- Weight dropped from 161.7 lbs on day one to 149.5 lbs on day seven. day 1 - 161.7 lbs day 2 - 157.1 lbs day 3 - 155.7 lbs day 4 - 154.1 lbs day 5 - 153.2 lbs day 6 - 150.8 lbs day 7 - 149.5 lbs 4.6 lbs loss from day 1 to 2 is likely because of over eating the day before. --- Here is what had for the 7 days: - one cup of black coffee every morning. - Lyteshow electrolytes (sugar free, no calories - https://amazon.com/dp/B00EISFBYA) - supplements: calcium, magnesium, multi-vitamins, B12, vitamin D --- Key for me was drinking loads of water and keeping my mind occupied. I do like reading and watching good TV. So I indulged in them. Consequently this also has been the most productive reading week.
