Curious how new user discovery works on Farcaster

I’ve seen people’s first posts blow up, but their recent posts don’t get much traction… is this the equivalent of accidental shadowbanning lol

Hmm yeah it seems like leaving the app for an extended period of time can help with boosting your first post back… very strange

First post blowing up is that dopamine hit. Adding followers fast then helps. This is even if you’re away from app > 30 days. 

Then, you need meaningful engagement to keep things going. 

Definitely not a shadowban (I don’t even think that exists here)

Yeah, you do struggle to get some traction at the start, but the goal is to stay a bit active and engage in conversations that helps increase your reach and get your casts noticed
