When there's value on the line there will always be those that try to exploit the system and extract that value for themselves. Hamcaster is not immune. Individuals or an individual is trying to exploit the weekly Ham bonus by creating many caster tokens and locking the free tokens they receive. If done enough times this will dilute the Ham bonus entirely in their favor. Therefore there will be changes to how the weekly Ham bonus is delivered. Will announce those changes in the next few days. 

The changes will ensure that legitimate participants and their stakers, the intended rightful recipients of the bonus, will receive the additional Ham and not those only looking to exploit and extract 😊

This only affects the weekly Ham bonus. Everything else works exactly the same! You can still share your daily allocation and tips with your stakers the same as always :)

For the next $HAM bonus, caster tokens will require at least 5 million locked tokens to qualify. This closes the loophole mentioned in the cast below. 

There will be a one time lock bonus for most caster tokens to reward honest participants in the Ham ecosystem while ensuring bad actors don't extract our precious Ham.

Well that’s not cool and eliminates most people from qualifying unless they lock all their own tokens, which leaves none for tipping unless they buy more of their own. 

We’re being penalized for a few bad apples.

we’d be penalized without the new rule coz the bad apples would be able to continue exploiting the thing which would dilute everyone’s ham earnings significantly. but my understanding is a majority already existing sub-5mil locked accounts will get “white listed”?
