Regardless of how much progress there is in the field of AI technology, it's somehow hard for me to imagine that something like that can replace me.

More precisely, it is difficult for me to imagine the course of that change. What will it look like?

I don't expect companies to order employees to use some language model or tomorrow's AI. I think that change will come from the workers themselves.

In a team where one of the colleagues uses AI, while the others do not. A colleague who is helped by AI in his work will perform that work faster than others.

Over time, the management will notice this, give the person a raise and promotion, and those who are redundant will be fired. So little by little AI will enter our work, become better, and after that developers will no longer be needed.
