Yes, a real life experiment.
July had the idea to send me a handwritten Happy Birthday card back in my birthday month of July.
What a lovely idea!
And I was willing to dox myself to an internet stranger to receive such a rarity of the modern world!!!
Only thing was that the first card never arrived.
Neither did the second one.
The third one however…
A postcard from July’s recent trip to Hawaii, was received today December 17.
Third time is indeed the charm.
A handwritten birthday gesture, even if it took 5 months after my actual birthday in July to arrive in December, will be a memory I will forever appreciate and cherish.
Thank you @july! That was fun!
Better go ahead and start preparing the next one to send in February so it just might have a chance of arriving next July…
