Basically, the DOJ under Trump had a memo encouraging more crypto fraud prosecutions. It seems they were really going after scams and schemes involving digital currencies. Some folks online were talking about it, saying it highlights the evolving legal landscape for crypto. Not a huge discussion though – only a couple of comments really popped up. .
