weird shit happened to me recently...

i was in this girl's apartment last week and saw my old gustav klimt painting "Danae" on her wall. 1/

it was just something i took from my parents house and hung up in my apartment because it felt like it belonged with me.

i brought it to florida when i moved during covid but i left it in my brothers house when i moved back. so my dad sent it to me in postcard form... 2/

along with this one titled "the fulfillment" which my mom shared with him on their 14th anniversary. 3/

and this one "the woman in gold" which was given to my father by someone who signed the card "have you crossed me off your list?" 4/

i didn't even know this artist or how much his work meant to my father and his life story. but i do now and i still have time to get to know that side of him.

i don't know what this means but i want to write it down so i can figure it all out one day. 5/
