Go for Swift with Cursor.

Super based. I opened Xcode and was dreading shipping in there. What’s the recommended dev workflow? Cursor for dev and Xcode for building / preview in a separate screen? Also, what’s the fastest “getting up to speed” for swift ui + apple Xcode configs? Enough to ship and know what I’m doing. Don’t need to know everything

Yes all development can be done with cursor, building in Xcode and testing in simulator. I use one screen but cursor in primary and Xcode in secondary could be sweet. You can ask ChatGPT for anything you need to know or understand at a conceptual level, as a personal tutor for learning Swift.

One amazing thing I’ve found (Claude 3.7 MAX in Agent mode) is that you can ask Cursor to “run a clean build and fix any errors”. If you authorize the command to run without user verification. It debugs and fixes whatever feature you’re working on. Feel free to ask if you get stuck with anything.
