I used to think giving kids everything they asked for would make me a good parent Toys, clothes, gadgets. But the older I got, the more I realized… kids don’t really remember the stuff. They remember how you made them feel. The safety. The softness in your voice. Whether you showed up when they needed someone. That’s what stays. That’s what shapes them.
