Tasting Notes:
Nose: Rich red wood flecked with gold appearance. A torrent of rich sherry aromas flow over sour plums and dried prunes. Delightful combination of gingerbread and cracked black pepper adds gentle warmth. Dark chocolate with a touch of marzipan.
Palate: An opulent, vintage sherry style combining a medley of dark espresso, Mediterranean fruits, rich molasses and hints of herbal bitters. Full-bodied and complex.
Finish: An earthy, aged oak character of air-cured tobacco leaves a leathery dryness adding great depth and texture, contributing to the unique, full-bodied Highland style.
A superb expression.
