Nose: Intense concentration of chocolate fondant, candied ginger and glacé cherries. Perfectly balanced with warming black pepper, rich oak spices and slight liquorice touch. Red maple, dark amber appearance.
Palate: Full-bodied sherry characteristics delivering dark molasses-enriched Christmas cake. Sour plum syrup and delightful cigar box spices. Massive sherry presence - plums, currants, raisins.
Finish: Long with rare combination of heavyweight sherry octave maturation and robust Highland whisky characteristics.
