What if every song on @cooprecs had a market cap? Does that sound exciting or what's your general reaction to that?

Like a bonding curve or something like that? Could be good to build some hype, but it’s not always the best way of bringing value too imho💆🏻♂️

Basically been following the new Zora model pretty closely. Essentially gives every drop a market - whether its perceived as that or not. One big thing that's been missing from our model is there's no way for collectors to make money currently (they're all open editions) I'm really bullish on referral rewards but I do think for this to actually click there needs to be an element of being able to 100x a song. Lots to be unpacked here but alongside the number of mints we would basically be displaying the market cap the same way you would be scouting tokens on Dexscreener. I know they're not 1:1 but feels like the world we're headed to and trying to figure out our positioning in that race

but it seems like you're thinking there needs to be a way for collectors to really profit, maybe by 100x-ing a song. How do you see that working, and do you think it would solve the issue with the open editions?

Feel you once again, 1/1 on base are /sadly/ pointless either way imho. Been on L1, sold plenty of stuff there, but base is a complete different experience. One thing remains the same imho: Art don’t hold the value it really deserves, the thing driving someone to mint is the gains the would get from it imho. So yeah, why not bro? Something like the new Zora system could me good ngl.

Hmmm I really like the direction of the idea… It would be hard without a bonding curve because where would the liquidity come from. Also the problem to address is probably the “why” does a person want to hold the token, aside from just collecting. Because when if it reaches a certain value normal incentive would be to sell. I think there is something here!
