i do everything solo, it’s the best going to shows/club nights solo, i make new friends who have similar music taste going to museums solo, i don’t feel rushed or forced to chat traveling solo forces me out of my comfort zone and build relationships with new people etc.

Great post! I think this comes down to “I can have it all, but not all at once”. One shouldn’t sacrifice a great experience just for the temporary lack of a buddy to share it with. And ultimately, the odds of finding said person during said activity is bigger than staying at home, right? 80 $DEGEN

I remember travelling in Melbourne by myself and going for dinner. Sitting alone. Eating sushi. Saw another solo person who looked at me and burst into tears. Made me realize nobody cares about you. They see themselves if anything. Went to my first movie alone after. And have many times after that.
