Friendly reminder that "onboarding" people to crypto is actually still extremely manual and requires you to go meet them where they are at. Making a wallet is still not intuitive and without clear guidance and support as to why it's valuable - most regular people fail to see the value prop. Be willing to go out to the real world and pull people back into your products and world. It takes a ton of time, energy and effort but this mentality will convert to a much more highly retained audience over the next year instead of relying on them to magically discover your app when crypto pops off again.

Yes - and - I am going to onboard total beginners with this upcoming open course in beta. 80% about the (world) computer and the culture we are building vs 20% about the casino. Alpha Cohort were VP-level leaders in a corporate client. https://maven.com/onchain/blockchain-for-beginners

onboarding is a tough process. most people don't want to buy products, they just want it free. makes the job difficult for us to onboard. trying to convince a friend to do a bounty currently ongoing on fc and he has been stubborn about creating a wallet. what tips can you give?

Lots of time and effort at the initial “onboarding” and then continuous support.

I agree with this,we should always endeavor to go all the way when bringing new people cause it’s tough navigating web2 to web3 immediately except you are smart and faster that most people, but still do you think farcaster is acceptive to this onboarding feature most stoked here it just feels as if you should have been more early,

Do you think if the merkle team host events speaking about farcaster and its benefits people would get onboarded at a much larger and faster scale?
