Some early thoughts on the Mets through the first week of the season: -Defense has be awful -Pitching has been average although 4/2’s game with Miami was iffy -Offense is abysmal Watching the game yesterday you almost felt Pete was going to tie the game with a bomb. The same really can’t be said about Lindor or Soto at this point. I know it’s early and Lindor proved himself last year but it just feels like the clutch ABs aren’t there for these two, Soto especially. It’s early yet but I’d really like to see more from the offense.

I didn’t vote for Trump to annex Canada, Greenland, or the Panama Canal. I certainly don’t care about the name of the Gulf of Mexico. Let’s get back to ending forever war funding, fixing our food, and cutting spending.

Now that the FDA has banned Red 3, the question is why now? Is it because RFK will be coming in and would have? I feel like I’ve heard about how bad Red 3 is for a long time. It’s hard to believe the FDA is just finding this out now. It’s also been banned in cosmetics for 35 years. Why do manufacturers have until 2027 to comply? If it’s cancer causing it should be immediate. It’s clear the government benefits from us being chronically ill.
