Gmmm! Happy Friday. You've been missed. Hopefully all those health issues are behind you and you can enjoy these .... squints....freezing days. Eesh, you've had an unlucky run of late... Sorry. Hopefully your body is full of antibodies now and can fight anything 😂 what happened to the car? Is the universe conspiring against you? Football playoffs were ok. One awful game, one great game. My team is long out lol, dont really care who wins. But people are not happy with a chiefs eagles rematch. 250 $degen towards car repair fund 😅

Yaaa, something is in the air that's for sure. Haha I hope so, I should be good to fight things off for the next 3-5 years 😂 Aww no, not your team... But it's good when you can enjoy the games regardless because you just love the sport! That was me when I used to watch hockey 🏒 I have a VW and it's known for carbon build up which causes misfires. However, last week I paid 570$ to fix it and 2 days later the misfires came back with a vengeance lol. The CEL has now disappeared though and hasn't returned... Did it fix itself? I don't know 😆 Thanks for the car repair fund, truly appreciate it 🫂💜

Do you have any before and after photos of the carbon cleaning? What made them say it was carbon to begin with? Which VW engine 👀

Nope... It was a garage that did it for me... They opened it up and saw the carbon build up. I brought it in because CEL code showed that I was getting misfire on cylinder 2 & 4 as well as the intake manifold. Weird thing is that I replaced wtv that part is in cylinder 2 & 4 August of 2023... I have a VW Tiguan 2013

So is that a 2.0t? Lots of reasons there could be a misfire. You mentioned you replaced whatever part inside...spark plug? Fuel injector? Coil pack?

Having them take a before and after photo of the carbon build up would have been cool. Proof of them doing it since it's a job that is buried in the engine and you need a scope usually to see it without pulling the heads
