- Your moral values are primarily the result of evolutionary adaptability, and not some objective set of ethical facts (indeed, the conviction that moral values are objective is itself evolutionarily adaptive)
- Most discussions comparing base layer assets focus on technical differences presently, without much consideration given to the social dynamics that reinforce or undermine those technical properties over time (e.g. Bitcoin security budget concerns)
- Human rights aren’t real. They were invented in the wake of WW2 to protect citizens from their own governments, but because governments are sovereign there’s nothing to prevent them from abusing their own citizens, which they all do whenever is expedient
- Global debt in the fiat monetary system is meant to perpetually increase, this is by design and a good thing under that system
- Gas optimisation in solidity smart contract design almost always represents a bad trade-off
